Our flight from Washington, DC to New York (JFK) was late leaving the ground, so we missed the flight to Edinburgh. After some uncertainty and lots of tears at the airport, we headed to an airport hotel for the night – the Holiday Inn Express. They took good care of us.

Roger was admiring this old Packer which was parked outside the hotel. We took a taxi and the subway into the city and did some walking around. We had an excellent late lunch at Villa Mosconi, and headed back to the hotel to retrieve our carry on bags, and then it was back to the airport.
