Roger and I were able to get away at the last minute and go to the oyster dinner in Mount Airy. It is put on by the volunteer fire department. The fried oysters didn’t seem to be as tasty as other years. But the trucks were still there for an up close and personal view.
A have a scanner at home now – mostly to scan my maps for GarTrip and my quilt pictures. This picture showed up in some stuff from my mother. It makes me smile – I loved hanging out at the neighborhood hardware store from a young age. I am on the right. I don’t know who the other girl is…
Roger gave me a Little Giant ladder for my birthday. He saw one when he was at his brother Bill’s in July. I have wanted one for ages, so it was a great gift! I can’t wait to clean the gutters this year!
