I drove to the Philadelphia area to participate in a series of four short orienteering races – “sprints.” They were held at two sites by DVOA. I helped with the epunching. Here I am starting the 4th sprint. Thanks to Eddie Bergeron for the photo.

It was a warm, but a very enjoyable day. I did manage to get disoriented driving to both locations.

Next to arriving at my door safely after a three hour drive home, this is my favorite part of the trip – seeing the US Capitol. It looks so much bigger in person than it does in this picture. Ummm, yes, I had both hands on the wheel when I took the picture…
