The picture on the left is from August 2004 – Roger got hit by a red light runner. The one on the right is from today – a Jeep backed into my car in the parking lot at work. Ironically, my car was the only other car in the whole parking lot.

Heavy rains overnight, flooded basement in the morning. Aggghhhh!!! It turns out the outlet of the sump drain was plugged – this caused the water last month as well, though we didn’t figure it out correctly at the time. Called Roto-Rooter at 5:30 AM and they were there by 10 AM. I went to Boot Camp and then to Home Depot for a utility pump.

Roger enjoys smoking meat on his smoker. He usually picks the hottest day of the year to do it, but the finished product is worth it…the freshly smoked birdie!!
