I did a bit of house cleaning today, and I was reminded about what Roger’s brother found while cleaning their basement before Thanksgiving…some very aged wine. Roger had brought it home while he was in the Navy. I don’t think we will open the white, but it may be interesting to see if the bottle of red from 1968 is at all drinkable.
I spent the morning at the park setting out control streamers for our meet in January. A very satisfactory way to spend 3 hours, and a fine start to my winter break.

Chieko pieced this quilt, and I quilted it and made a label. It is double bed size. I enjoyed quilting again, though I felt like I was having to relearn simple things, like what marking pens worked best, and how to stop and start the thread. I was very pleased with the results.
