Pie making is something I am still trying to master after many years. Sometimes I get the crust just right – and sometimes I get the filling perfect. Probably 1 in 20, I get both parts right at the same time. This wasn’t one of them. The crust was excellent, and the filling was runny… Oh, well, the squirrels liked the leftovers.
